Anyone have any comment on this? Is it BS? Seems kinda cheap and vague.

Vague?? But the listing said it was designed for the RX-8 LINK
In-order to custom design this for all those cars this must be a huge, High Tech business.

I say go for it and do a DYI on how to install it, then report on your thoughts of the purchase you made.

Those things work one way (if you want to call it that). They make the car run richer (more gas). If it's like most cars, it will help power a little bit becuase most cars run a little on the lean side of the best power (13:1 or so) A/F ratio. Since the RX-8 dips down to almost 10:1, it really hurts power. Adding more fuel to the fire won't help at all.

I'll take the flames on this one since no one else threw this up there in the past based on my search.

Good for someone to test and report. Might not be me though.

Will it ever end?
How much snake oil has been sold to date?
This thing is just a resistor (.12) that makes the computer think it is colder.
Will do nothing for the 8 because the O2 sensor will pick it up and correct it.

Go ahead and buy it but don't forget to donate to the fund for idiots.

Yeah, I heard this works, and also they have these nifty RX8Club stickers. When you put them on it gives +10 hp.

When will people realize there are no shortcuts to power (especially with this car). You are not getting 100 hp for $100. To think you have some miracle power adder that nobody else has is just foolish.

True very true. I wasn't actually upset at 305WANKE. I thought it was funny, especially since Everyone seems to go through the same evolution:

Start redundant new thread
Get flamed
Search and respond to ancient dead thread
Everyone has a good laugh
Start flaming someone who started a redundant new thread

but the cheese melts and gets everywhere...then I have to clean it... maybe I could put a sensor in there that detects melting and falling cheese so it pops it up before it melts too much. i could make a DIY for it!!!!!!

sweet!

Or maybe we can manufacture a bracket and motor that will rotate your toasted 90 degrees after you insert a grill cheese into it.

And add the melty cheesy sensor so you get a perfect grill cheese each time! woot!
