O2 sensor

OK i need help from you guys. i want to get a test P but i need to know what to do with my O2 Sensor i know there is a " chip " that sends the right signals to the ecu and tricks it i need to know if it works and if so where can i get it from ....thank you guys

From: 12 o'clock on the Beltway.
There is no chip for this ecu. The ecu activly tests the cat by sending rapidly alternating lean/rich cycles through the engine and looks for signal inversion between the wideband sensor in the manifold and the sensor post-cat. If it does not see this, it throws a cel. Some say that they never get a lit cel. With OBDII you can get stored cels that will show up if you query the system, but you wont see the light.

There is one unproven system on this board using a bung extention. I cant imagine why this would work. Just live with the light.
