newbie here some llamo questions

Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase a rx8 shortly. I'm trading in my turbo charged svtf. I was wondering since i couldn't find it, is their a sct or predator type ecu flasher for the rx8? also what are the tops mods, not looking to do anything crazy, ethier? Also what are the 1/4 mile times with the car w/ just dr's? Also what are some grips that don't come up on the reviews. any assistance would be nice and sorry if this isn't in the right place

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

you're asking 4 questions in one post....all of which could be answered if you merely searched. Jeez.

Cool Mods.....

There are some interesting superchargers/turbos coming soon, browse the Major Horsepower section.

Not too much potential in bolt-on upgrades, the Renesis is pretty well maxed out from intake to muffler, so as they say here - "Go big, or stay home."

Oh, and like the M-man says - search.

There's nothing similar between the focus and RX8. Therefore sct, predator, dr, the tops mods, ethier, and grips might mean something in the Carlina Focus forum, but they just made you sound stupid here.

Here are some search suggestions for you. People get a little uppity around here sometimes. I understand it's difficult when you're not sure what to search for. Most of the stuff here is pretty common to other forums.

engine management: CAN, Scanalyzer, interceptor-x, emu

N/A mods: Intake, exhaust, light flywheel, pulleys

suspension: suspension mods, springs, alignment, brakes, shocks

FI mods: FI, supercharge, turbocharger, mazsport, axial flow, greddy turbo, nitrous

gripes search: gas mileage, recalls, flooding.

hey man, i agree!!! most of the people on this site seem like they do nothing but sit in a cubicle at a desk job all day and bash the "NOOBS" and trying to out NERD each other... anyway i've been the market as of recent myself... best mods i've seen people USE and LIKE are as follows

UD pulleys and lightened flywheel- both will help with rev much faster from what ive read and are the most bang for your buck w/ this car... you gotta search both to see the pros and cons... but these have been the bolt ons that people seem to love, along with short shifters

exhaust, test pipes and such- not gonna yeild much HP with these upgrades like you might see with something like a SVT ride... ive read alot of people here stay with the stock exhaust and do more with a test pipe, hi-flow cats and the intake. do the search but alot of good sh*it about the Racing beat revi intake and air duct!!!

Your gonna see alot of people on this site let the extra money or warranty issues decide what brand of product to go with but there seems to be alot of smart folk here( once the get over their "newbie smashing, i know more than you" god complex")

Good luck cuz, get at me when you get something going. I'd like to hear some feedback on any parts you try,1
