It wasn't too bad morgan, the hardest part was trying to be careful while taking off and replacing the bumper. Sound is great, and power gains are not large but definitely there.

Is there DIY on this yet? I'd really like to see step by step on this install since it entails having to remove the front bumper.

Why are the headlights masked?

all of your questions will most likely be addressed in the nearly 600 posts located in the thread above.

and the intake is a lot of fun to rev up, with the windows down.

front bumper removal is a whoel lot easier than i thought it woudl be..tookme and my friend 10 min.'s to do it....even faster putting it back on. :D you shouldn't worry about it....just take your tiem you'll be donoe in no time...the instructions that come with the revi are super easy to use and are a very nice step by step. took me about 45-60 min.'s for the install myself. :D and i love it at wot. just cruising aroudn town i don't notice a difference at all...but under load adn wot..it sound svery menacing (in a good way) at 4.5k - redline :D

Sorry Mike, don't have the equipment for a sound or video clip, I can tell you that it sounds a little lower than stock, until you reach 5K-9K, from then on it sounds pretty mean, almost like the car is taking a big gulp of air.

Also to reply about the front lights being covered, I learned that helpful hint in the thread dedicated to the RB intake, it is to prevent the lights from being scratched when putting the front bumper back on, and it definitely did work.

I'll second this request. A DIY would be great.

I know there's a thead just dedicated to the RB REVi intake, but damn there's a bazillion messages in it - and I have read most of them. Still, a separate DIY with step by step photos would be terrific.

I'm waiting for RB to come out with their cold intake that goes with the REVi. That way I only need to take that nose off once.

You are right about the RB intake thread, there is way too much to read in there, if I had taken more pics I would start a DIY thread, sorry. Taking the bumper off really wasn't too bad and the instructions that RB provides are very detailed with pictures.
