New MK 3 Hymee Enhanced Catback
Hi all,
I've have the new MK 3 version of my RX-8 catback Sports Exhaust fitted to my car for a couple of weeks now, and the first production unit has been made with a batch to roll off the production line as we speak.
Improvements
The original characteristics are all retained, including the beautiful looking 4" slash-cut double wall stainless steel tips, perfect note and no drone. If anything, that note is slightly improved IMHO.
The same characteristic pops and crackles during shifting and trailing throttle are still there as well. Put a big smile on my face when I drove it for the first time
Pics shown don't show the 02 Laser engraved stainless steel ID plates, which are coming soon from the engraver.
Enjoy the pics!
Cheers,
Hymee.
PS - I would like to get a Group By together for you US folk so we can work a bulk shipment stateside to save on exhorbident shipping costs. 10 units will be enough to get going.

Improvements
- New full length intermediate pipe. Fully mandrel bent stainless steel tube. The stub-adaptor is abandoned. No longer is it necessary to pull apart that pesky factory u-bolted slip joint!
- New heavy duty jigs for professional series production.
- Slight flow improvements - reduced bends.
- New OEM style hanger brackets with locating *****.
- Further welding "Pulse TIG".

wow, that is one SHINY and sexy looking exhaust. The tips look a little odd to me because they look 'thinner' then most of the exhausts I've seen. Might just be the angle the pics were taken at.
Still great looking

What's up with this crap! I thought Hymee made car parts, not pieces of ART work.
those mufflers look smaller. Nice job.
But I still don't understand why you don't have one muffler with two pipes comming out to the rear.
I would think that would be better flow,
Hymee.... have you been off roading again? I see alot of dirt under there
How much does she weigh?
