need a lil help

hey i just installed my intake this morning. everything went good, so i thought. but now i have a issue where the car cuts off in the middle of me driving. could it be something i did wrong or didn't do. all of a sudden it just idles down and cuts off. I've just been putting it back in gear and then it comes back on.


any idea or suggestions.

i have a 04 mt.
and the intake is a simota.

Move this to "Issues/Prob's" Tech forum and you will get more hits.

If i were you i would go back and take everything out and re-install, checking all connections and such. Sounds like poss vacuum issue.

the only thing i can think of is a loose wire connection at the MAF sensor or if the MAF sensor and intake are not mounted tightly the MAF could be bouncing around and giving false readings to the ecu which can stall the engine. double check connections and mounting

thanks guys. no cel. i just checked everything. the map sensor was a lil loose. it wouldn't fit flush, so i did the best i could. seems to be ok so far.
