No... listen to Easy... AEM or Racing Beat Revi.
Better yet, save your money, stick with OEM and drop in a K&N filter.

You should make your own intake out of pvc pipe. You don't even need a filter. Also, if you suck up a ton of sand it will port the motor for you. You should see a 35-55 rwhp gain if you get the right grade sand. Don't bother with your standard sand box sand though. The sand on the beaches of cancun works the best. Hope this helps.

Spend 40 bucks on a K&N Drop in and $200 for a new set of prescription glasses so the next time you ask an ignorant question at least it will be in the correct model year forum.

It is not a cai and makes you lose power by sucking hot air from the engine bay.

if you are looking to make more straight line power, intakes aren't going to help much

turbo, supercharger, or nitrous are the only options that add significant power

don't waste your money on useless mods like intake or exhaust if you are looking at them as power adders. they are sound and appearance mods on a stock engine. if you go with a supercharger, turbocharger or nitrous, you will benefit from an exhaust system however.

For the auto I wouldn't go for the aem.. I've tried almost all of them out and I highly recommend the racing beat with duct. I'm running injen right now, which I'd put at number 2 just because of the sound. I always had some idle issues or bogging down on my auto with most of the other ones.. Even though I've heard great things about the aem from manual owners

i'd gladly sell you mine cheap as soon as i get an allen key to remove it and put the stock airbox back, although shipping to us would probably suck.

not a fan, k&n drop-in for the stock airbox is the way to go

my friend had an injen intake in his nissan and it was loud as hell.
he paid around 260$ for it too.

whats a good intake compared to the injen with sound and price?
The aem is deff what im looking at more...but if the mazdaspeed is made by aem than maybe that will work too?
