I have an Automatic RX8

I wanted to know if a Cold Air Intake with make a nice deep sound and add extra HP.. A friend of mine just installed one on his G35C It sounds great . He told me that he has read that Intakes on RX8 don't work well do to the Rotary Engine and that the Stock one works and sounds better then an Aftermarket one...

Not sure just relaying what I was told..

If he is Wrong..... what Intake sounds & works the best with an RX8 and what is the Best price to buy it.. Also is there an Intake that will fit without me having to permanetely remove my engine cover...
