My ride is under going through the fc3s swap into rx8 but i can't have the elecctronics working in it as the stock meters like the rev and speed can't read into the fc3s engine and the (Rx-8) alternator can't start.my rx 8 power steering which is electronically controlled can't be used by fc3s which is belt controlled please advice on the solution.

I don't have an answer, but I have a question.
Why didn't research this swap before undertaking it?

Get a stand alone EMS. Ditch the powersteering from the FC engine and wire electric power steering into the EMS so it turns on with the car. Build a custom dash and use the EMS to run your new gauges.

........but seriously how could have not researched this and why the Fc engine over the Fd engine?

Dude, Are you friggin out of your mind? Doing the work like that without knowing what you are going to use for your EMS, and how you are going to thigh the rest of it in? This just doesn't make sense!
You are undertaking a thousands of $$ worth of a project and not thinking about basics? I don't think you are for real here bro...
No offence. Unless you have proven otherwise, I'll have no choice but to call tread BULLSHIT.

I can build a plug and play Interceptor-X that will solve your problems. Let me know the injector sizes and I will install a base map as well.1-800-538-9989
BTW this is also available for FD engine swaps,Scott

Out of curiosity which engine from the FC? S4? S5? Turbo model I hope?

BTW, "FC3S" is the chassis code, so unless you are creating some sort of chimera monstrosity, what you are actually transplanting is the engine. Which would be a 13B or a 13BT.

Also, unless you are doing some porting and/or turbo upgrade, you are losing power with this swap. And you are putting a 20y/o engine in a new car... You are asking questions which should have been researched before even considering a swap, but it sounds like you have the engine half-way into the car and are typing with the other hand asking why it won't fit... I'm with rotorocks on this one...

On the other hand, if you are indeed for real, and realize the amount of money this project will most likely take... While you have the car apart anyway, how about doing some serious work on it? I did alot of research on the FC a couple years back so if you want I can dig up lots of links for how to make the 13B faster. IIRC, something like 400+ hp is achievable without too many surprises. You need turbo, fuel, and EMU

Scott, the Int-X works on the 13B ECU? Cool...

Listen to the MazsportScott. If everything else is physically in place an EMS is all that you need. Do you have pics of this setup? and why the FC engine over the FD one?

Ask RGonza, Im sure he knows what you need. He has done a couple of swaps. I did my 20b swap myself and everytime I had problem He helped me out. Most of the time over the phone, becouse he is in Puerto Rico.
