BHR or forget it.

+1 for BHR. Their resonator doesn't use packing so it can't burn up and blow out the exhaust, it lasts forever and keeps the same tone. I have an Agency Power midpipe and wish I would have sprung for the BHR offering.

BHR. Or AP maybe? Assuming you're only looking for a nice sound, check them out on youtube and see which one you like best.

Also depends what you are looking for. Performance-wise, you won't be getting much bang for your buck with an aftermarket intake. That's not saying that there will be no performance increase but the OEM intake is very good already. If it's the sound you are looking for, same deal as before: youtube. Alot of the guys here say the K&N sounds the best/loudest but its all about preference.
On the other hand, if you ARE looking for more performance, I'd suggest passing on the intake and getting a cat-back that will compliment your midpipe. Though the majority of the performance gain will be from eliminating the cat, sandwiching a 3" midpipe in between 2.5" headers and cat back will be somewhat restricting. There are good catback systems that don't cost much more than a Mazdaspeed intake. |
