Well, the tragic end to my stock 04 tranny: Driving down the highway on a busted transmission, went to shift into 3rd gear and CRACK clutch pedal goes to the floor and didnt come back up. Found a good deal on a new tranny, now im looking to upgrade the clutch and flywheel. I need some suggestions on what type and who to buy from. Looking for something well made and fit for 1/4 mile runs at the track, but also not insanely expensive. The tranny cost 1200, dont really wanna spend more than 1800-1900 total after clutch and flywheel. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

so...because your pedal broke your replacing the tranny? you know the pedal breaking can be fixed.

 

I think he is saying both went? Or he is replacing the pedal at the same time just because?

 

idk...thats what i thought...but it kinda sounds like the pedal went...and he might think it's the transmission....

 

nvm. just re-read. get the bhr flywheel and clutch pedal. and a act clutch.

i use the fluid motorsports clutch bracket.

that's all i'll say.

 

yeah but since he already broke his the bhr would make more sense. they both do the same thing anyway.

 

the clutch pedal didnt break, the clutch broke. transmissions been messed up for a while. can i get pricing on those items you mentioned?
