After installing the MS CAI I tried to start the engine, it starts normally then begins to sputter then stalls? Anyone have any ideas? I checked the nipple on the vacume tube going into the throttle body. Thanks in advance..

 

I removed the MAF harness from the instake and the car starts and runs fine. I also reset the ECU. Im Confused.

 

I figured it out, the MAF bung was welded on upside down.

does anyone see an isse with running without the MAF sensor connected? the car is 10 miles from my hosue. I just want to get it home

 

I would put it in somehow. Seal it as best you can, duct tape, bubble gum etc. just so long as it's (mostly) in the airflow, and facing the right way!

My MS Cai is running fine and sounds great. MAF is in and i installed the thing myself. Maybe you just got an intake built ona friday..
