Motec M4 kit!!!

Does anyone have some more info about the motec m4 kit for the rx8, where to order it and for which models it can be used.I like to use it on my 4port rx8.
It would make life much easier for me to get the most out of my 8.

call Sylvain Tremblay at SpeedSource, I spoke to him the other day about the Motec setup they sell and use on their RX-8 Cup racers, better hire an armor car to ship all that dough though

Since it's known as the best aftermarket ecu system out there, you would use it as a stand alone system and chunk the stock ecu.

Well not exactly. The stock ecu will still have alot of functions to perform.

call him and ask, I think he said $8,500 (maybe $9500?) and I didn't ask what was included, required additionally, or how it integrated since I can't use it for my intended purpose

Not building a race car, just want full control over the engine but want to keep the A/C and other functions. Looks like it will cost around 2500 euro's.Right now I am looking at putting the greddy turbo kit on my 4port. But the emanage is only made for the 6port and it's a piggy back.

4Port Interceptor-X

I can build a unit for you, it would be plug and play and like the our other Interceptor-X systems. Our system is basically a standalone that allows the factory E.C.U. to control non engine related functions. I could also set up the basic maps to allow you to plug it in and get it running and driving, you of course would be required to do fine tuning. Scott
