i wonder... why don't we just have a water spraying solution for our radiator? won't be hard to keep a water tank topped off. (or convert the stock windwhield wiper tank for it)

Mine deals with it at the radiator, itself, while MM, Racing Beat, Mazsport, and maybe others too, all deal with it by turning on the fans sooner. The problem with turning on the fans sooner as an antidote is that those approaches don't improve upon the factory radiator's greatest weakness but only offer a "Band-Aid" solution, especially when in hotter climates or upping the heat potential of your engine. I can tell you that Pettit and MM both had heat issues with their Koyo rads and those issues went away when they swapped their factory rads back in. I may soon send Pettit a rad to play with as a professional courtesy, one vendor to another, but I need to update their fitment for the front-mount turbo kits before I do. Actually, now that I think about it I may have one they could have fun with right now............
You know, it's a good thing I actually read this forum...I don't post much but I try to keep up. It's information like this that would make my decision for me. Until now I actually was leaning towards the Koyo rad.

Band aids are for things that can eventually fix themselves. Great job as always Charles!

works well at removing heat soak, but usually is used for the intercoolers... nitrous works well too for this

the biggest problem drifters have is running wide open for 45sec, then immediately ideling a few minutes for the next round with no cooldown run (no airflow to remove heat except radiator fans)... then repeating 2 or more times. Heat soak sucks...

well, there is a limit to how much cooling one can get from only ambient air flow, the effect of water evaporating takes away tons more heat than just air flowing through it o.O.. plus, if a drifter is properly drifting.. his car is sideways o.O... no airflow from the front of the car
