Midpipe + stock catback = power gains?

I have an AP dual res. midpipe with a Greddy SP2... if I put my stock cat-back back on will the midpipe still provide a decent power gain over stock?

It's a little too ricey sounding =p

Thanks.

Yes. Aftermarket midpipes (not OE cat) on stock catbacks tend to produce quite a raspy sound, though not as loud.

Yeah, that's definitely what I've heard.

My question should be... does having that 3 inch piping for the midpipe, then the cat-back returning to a smaller 2.5 [or whatever the stock piping diameter is], affect the exhaust free-flow that the midpipe was there to promote?

Thanks.

I know that the gain is there, but I recently put on my OEM cat to pass emissions. lol, aside from the noise going away, cant say it feels like it lost power.

So its not like youll feel the loss anyways
