Smile Midpipe Question

hey guys and girls, anyone here know where I can buy a good quality Midpipe that won't throw a CEL? I saw one a while back in the parts for sale forum, that had a midpipe that had some kind of o2 sensor i think that eliminated the CEL.... I did a search, but it kept giving me sites about midpipes or CEL posts....please help, and if you can provide a website thank you!

Any catless midpipe will throw a CEL. The Rotary Performance Supercat supposedly will not.

ALL Midpipes have a good chance to throw a CEL light. Has nothing to do with O2 sensor. All of our cars have an O2 sensor, it's the fact that the O2 sensor senses that you don't have a catalytic that throws the CEL light. The RP Supercat might cost you a hp or 2, but because it has a hi-flow cat on it, won't throw the CEL.

I am running a midpipe from rx7store.net. Works very well. No CEL. It will add 8bhp, according to Raceing Beat.

listen to Fanman, especially if you have emissions tests. The RP super cat is a high flow cat, hence the name Super Cat, and will pass the tests (at least thats what their sight says).

Also, if you got a catless midpipe, aren't you supposed to tune the ecu or something? I know with a lot of cars you do or you get less power with the midpipe compared to the high flow cat.
