Uhhh...you know a midpipe is simply an empty pipe right? That its made from metal and in the shape of a pipe with nothing in it...

You know that right?

The B&B midpipe has a resonator. As does the SR Motorsports one.

The Agency Power w/ Midpipe is pretty damn loud. I finally removed mine cause it would give the girlfriend headaches & I always felt like I was attracting a bit too much attention.

the word "quieter" and midpipe really don't go in the same sentence. The greddy is quite loud already with the stock cat, I'd almost fear hearing it with a midpipe.

Why not go with something like the RP supercat?

I think what hes trying to say is if you're concerned about noise level a midpipe is going to be really loud, better off going with a high flow cat, or at the very least adding a resonator

check out youtube; seriously, there's a ton of RX-8 audio clips on there.

Xdeedubbx has 2 different HKS clips on there
I'm sure there's a greddy sound clip
Nemesis uploaded an RP supercat +RB.

Search long enough, and you might find the clip on youtube

I actually have the Agency full exhaust on with "cat delete" pipe, and its rediculously loud. Personally I dont like it, and you can't hear yourself think on the highway, nor does it sound that great. I'm actually going to put the original stock cat back on and get rid of the midpipe. Hopefully that quiets things down. Hope that helps you.

The resonated ones are called "resonated midpipes"...

If you are concerned about sound...you need a supercat "high flow cat"...

I am very happy with the RB Rev8 + midpipe (no resonator)...below 4k its nice and quiet...I can get along in traffic without anyone noticing me...over 6k and the sound terrorizes yet mesmerizes most people...

The Rev8 is the nice trade-off for me...its has a good note and is very quiet compared to everything else out there...

I've heard the Agency Power with it's midpipe is just stupid loud.

But really, any midpipe is going to make the car incredibly loud

You've been here for 9 days and you already are getting tired of it? Oh, and I don't think your forum name is helping all that much.

you guys need to realize that MANY of us have been here for YEARS and have seen questions like this asked dozens and dozens of times. We're here to help but we're also human and grow tired so we often have a little fun at the 'n00bs' (by n00b, I simply mean the new people)
The search button would easily have answered questions on midpipes and exhaust combos, as we even have a VERY extensive thread on most the exhaust systems for the 8.

Don't take things so seriously, you'll enjoy your time here so much more.

Dude, you have 11 posts here, all of which are just bashing our community. I understand how you feel about people not answering question when asked and what not, but why did you join this forum? To just say what 350's are better?

You obviously don't have an RX-8.
