Keeping your oil at coolest temps is the best right? So has anyone done MAZMARTS dual oil cooler aka Right side oiler cooler? If so, have u seen dramatic temp drops or no?

it is great mod. if you can go fast and push the car or if you live in the fcking desert (yelling like sam kinison).

if you are wondering about performance, a tip.

take off one of you wheels. weight it. post it up..

you will get lots of suggestions..

btw, dont waste your money on pulleys!

All 2004 4AT comes with only one oil cooler. Some 2005 4AT comes with two. There is a TSB on the 4ATs regarding this matter. All 6AT and 6MT comes with two oil coolers.

quick and easy,

you have an auto.. pulleys intakes are not going to give you as much as taking of the 100 lb per corner wheels and tires you have on..

and taking them off is not going to help a lot..

the six port six speeds dont gain a lot of power with mods.. the autos are ~ 40 to 50 whp behind them..

you really need to post less and read more..

and se3p, as to my pm, i have tint and a pettit radio ****!

that is where i was going.. but you covered it..

the addition of the second cooler is a great mod. i just sent the whole setup to a friend in nz to help him out..

04 5 speed manual jdm only came with one also..

but if you dont live in the desert, and take care of your car, and dont spend time on the track. i think it would be hard to rationalize the expense..

so pretty much F'*** the performance mods and just coil over the suspension and sway bars strut bars and cross braces? I am kind of hating my rx8 right about now.

at least it still looks SEXY AS HELL.

not really,

depends on what you want to do? if you want to have a track car. get a 6 speed.

if you want more power for a straight line and have money.. turbo or sc.. it has been done..

but if you are going to do that, get a six speed.. sorry to be the bad guy!

yup, adding a 2nd oil cooler will help all 04 AT's.
+1 on not buying pulleys, waste of money.

Focus on cooling mods, decide what suspension setup you want (LOTS of reading ahead of you), and then swap out those wheels. You'll love your 8 again.

Either TIEN or HKS or MAZDASPEED I want something i can adjust electronically so my first would be tein.

My car pulls good in the low RPMs 6500 and below through all (like its alot) 4 gears, after that (high rpms) it kinda of just doesnt go anywhere. That is what im trying to solve. I really aint looking to have 300 hp at the wheels....

....I dont want to kill myself...want the handling of a racecar...even if it already has really good suspension. Yea cuz in law (s2k) just got coil overs and said it makes a lot of difference he told me to get them. He actually goes mountain running. Yeah the wheels got to go....we'll see what happens.
