I've decided to get the Mazdaspeed strut brace but after doing searches realized the stock cover won't fit without some modifying with a Dremel. Does anyone have pics of the required mods to make the stock cover fit. Is it just some minor cutting? I live in Texas so I am going to leave the cover on for what ever cooling benefit it offers. Thanx guys

 

Have you checked if there is proper clearance? Everything I've seen is that most people end up getting rid of the cover. Most people probably like people to see what they've got under there. You know, like "bling"...

 

I'm sure it is minimal cutting - triming is probably a better word

 

I think Philodox says that the IPT CF cover will fit right off the bat.

 

There isn't really any major cutting involved, justa little bit of trimming and it will fit.

 

The IPT CF cover as been designed for the Mazdaspeed Strut bar... great addition to your bay!
