Mazdaspeed Orange (O)

Anyone else notice the warranty code for mazdaspeed wheels?

Its called Mazdaspeed Orange and basically says that they are sold "as is." It also goes on to say that they should NOT be used on public highways, they are meant only for cometition/racing only. It also says that there will be no warranty coverage for any part/accessory that fails as a result of the MS "O" parts.

Can anyone explain to me why those wheels can't be used for regular street driving?

They are probably not DOT approved. Ferrari Challenge wheels are the same way. They would probably work fine, but if Mazda didn't specify that they are not for road use they could get sued(sp?) if there were a problem.
