Well, no one responded to my MS clutch post, so hopefully I can get some hits with this one....(yes I did a search for this information.)

On one of the threads regarding the MS LSD they mentioned it would have to be rebuilt/maintained every 30k miles or so. How true is this? And how important is it that I switch out the current LSD if I am planning on 300 hp to the wheels?

Just beat your stock unit until it breaks. I mean if you're going to replace it with the Mazdaspeed unit anyway, why not? Then report back to us how much abuse the stocker can take. Who knows, maybe it's pretty sturdy.
