Maybe true, but if you have CEL with AEM what is the dealer going to charge to look at it? Mazdaspeed parts covered by Mazda warranty, no charge

AEM isn't that much cheaper. Cheapest I found was $250+$30 shipping+$20 tax = $300. Rosenthal Mazda has the Mazdaspeed CAI listed for $329 out the door.

So basically your paying a $30 premium to have it say Mazdaspeed and have a CARB sticker so you can pass emissions in the states that need it.

Also I don't trust Ebay

probably not worth the extra cost over what they sell on eBay for without the MazdaSpeed logo

Not true, I wanted to get the intake and actual talked to the local Mazda rep. If you read the fine print about the accessories some can have an effect on warranty and that is one of them. It goes by the symbol next to the part. The intake can have the same effect on warranty as an aftermarket one.

the filter looks like it may be different too, possibly a dry one rather than an oiled K&N

my cost comment was WRT the pre-order price somebody mentioned earlier

I have MS parts on my car, and am happy with it. I also installed non-MS parts for items that were offered by MS. Will i get the intake? Of course not... the turbo came with its own (Insert Laughs!!!!). But i do have one, very important question...

Please do not tell me those are new MS B-Pillars. Are They?

UGLY!!!
