Just want to confirm something here....

Since replacing my stock exhaust with a Greddy SP2 Cat Back, I'm finding that my trunk has been staying cooler. Is it just in my mind or have others experienced this?

The cooler temp of the trunk has it's pros and cons.
Pro: Ice in a cooler doesn't melt in 10 miles.
Con: Pizza gets colder on the drive home.

 

A miracle! It does stay cooler when you take that monstrousity out from under the trunk,and allow some air flow.

Yes it will be cooler.

and if you take the cat out. the cup warmers dont warm so much..

Yep on both points above.
Switching to the MS exhaust meant that groceries make it home without being pre-cooked and no CAT means I can still read the display on my cell phone when I pull it out of the center console.

 

I dunno man...without my cat the center console still heats up after a nice extended drive...dont even get me started on the MP3 player and how hot it gets...I had to open up the console and direct some AC in there...

Still...well worth it...

Love the fact that my coworker got a prius and parks next to me...so ironic...

 

Next time you see him, thank him for being so environmentally conscientious and saving petroleum...

u know when i took my center console out of my 06, i saw mazda's fix for the cup warmer problem. It consisted of alot of cotton, wraped in some foil, with some tape. Im serious,

 

It gets better...shes pregnant...we park in a garage...and sometimes arrive at the same time...

Smells like a dump truck just pulled in....smells of rotary...smells like victory...sweet sweet victory...

I'm so going to hell...haa haa
