a little help here.......be gentle ....im a rookie

ok i have a question about the headers out for the 8......now i had a mazda6s and it was a v6 so i knew a little about that car but i hydroplaned across the highway hittin some guardrails. so now the rotary engine is like a new monster to me......ive check it out some what but to honest i cant see sh??? or maybe im not look hard enuff.......how are the headers set up 4.2.1 or 4.2? and what are the aftermarker prices ? pls help but be gentle ....just tryin to get educated

well from my exp. for the price the best bet is the obx header. you have the exoticspeed header but its over 1k. and w/ the1-3 hp gains they show w/ headers i would buy the 250 dollar header. ebay has the obx. but i may be wrong on the gains. so tell me if im wrong peeps

For that money, you're better getting a high flow cat, or engine reflash. While headers are a great mod on piston engines, and older 13B NA or SCd rotarys, for the Renesis it apparently hasn't proven to be cost effective enough for anyone of any decent reputation to build...at least not yet...

if your wanting more power i would go - rb flash, midpipe, rb intake.. ect. u can get all 3 of those for probly cheaper then the quality header

ok so wuts the diameter of the stock header......and your right 1k is a bit too much for little gain.....and im trying to go na .....i think me and you had this talk wussup_nothing lol thanks for the info
