K & N Typhoon ques

Hey quick question.... how would you be able to tell which is the 2nd version of the K&N Typhoon intake... since i've heard the 1st one was basically a moajor f' up...

The newest version is labeled differently. The new one is 69-6030-1tfk
The last digits are different.

to tell just by looking is simple enough, the gen 1 is in the traditional cone shape but double wide, the new ones are an inverted cone in a carbon fiber housing
