Just purchased TopSpeed Pro-1 catback
Hey guys
Just took a chance and bought the TopSpeed Pro-1 exhaust from toyspeedauto.com
I haven't seen or heard any members with this exhaust or heard sound clips so I'll post pics and a video when I get it either Tomorrow or Saturday.

Lol I hope not! The piping is a tad larger than stock, and the tips are 3.5 inches. I hope it is kinda loud but not too loud!! It says it's for street use and I think most exhausts are off road use only? Is that true?
I also can't seem to find any DIY'S on getting the exhaust removed. Is this because it is easy?

If you can put together an erector set then you can do an exhaust. You only need to remove the 2 spring bolts that connect to the catalytic. The hardest part will be getting the stupid hangers off. Be sure to lubricate them with some soapy water or something. If you get really lost you can always go to the racing beat website. They should have instructions on how to install their exhaust as a pdf file.

*installed*
Hey guys got it installed today with my dad. It was pretty simple installation except for some little things but not bad. Took about 2 hours. I had to cut a little of the plastic shroud where I thought it might melt from the exhaust.
It sounds amazing and has a good deep tone with no rasp. It's the street version and it's fairly quiet but not too quiet. You can really hear it at WOT
Camera was dead so no pics or vids yet

Updated Videos!
Hey guys don't know if you have seen this posted elsewhere but here is a vid of the exhaust in action and flyby.
Just ordered a Agency Power dual resonated midpipe
Fly by in the hood (made sure there was no one outside or around! Usually don't drive fast in my neighborhood)
Here's another with casual shifting:

I have been looking at this exhaust for a few days now...it seems to sound pretty good for $360ish. It looks like you have had it installed for about 7 months now. How do you like it? Is it holding up well? Any issues and how do the tips look? I read you bought the AP midpipe, you should post a video of that when you get it all installed, I would be interested in trying that some setup on mine if it sounded good. Heck, the exhaust itself sounds pretty loud in the video...my neighbors may not appreciate a cat delete haha. But, $360 for the exhaust, $250 for the midpipe, $610 for the setup + shipping....cheaper than any Borla or GReddy setup. I have always wanted the Borla/AP setup, but have been too cheap to buy Borla new, and I have only seen one used catback here in my area and didn't have the cash at the time. I just want the deeper sound at idel/take off...the majority will sound a little on the ricey side at high rpms, at least I think so from my research. Thanks man.

Thanks man. I think it sounds really good in person and it is only loud when you got on it, to be honest. I think it is fairly quiet and that is why I am getting the midpipe. It's nice and deep sounding just like I like. I'm surprised there is not that many 8 owners with this exhaust. It is holding up really well as far as I can tell. The tips are fine on the outside but the inside get a little brown and black and I can't seem to get it cleaned but I only just try to wipe it off when I wash my car. But I think you will really like it, I bought it because it was fairly cheap and I wanted a catback exhaust. Not sure that I paid 350? I can't remember. I'll try to figure out if I paid less and let you know.
And it sounds alot louder on the video I think. My s13 catback exhaust was wayyy louder. Damn I miss that car. Sickest sounding exhaust I have ever heard!

That is awesome to hear that it is holding up well...and yeah, I just wanted to be sure the tips were not rusting or doing something real funky haha. Yeah on Top Speed's website, http://topspeedauto.com/productcart/...idCategory=264 , it is $360, but I could possibly find it cheaper. It sounds loud in the video! That is okay though, I am already throwing a CEL from an o2 sensor going out, so I was just saving my money and waiting until I found a decent setup where I would go ahead and delete the cat, and this setup would not totally break the bank! Seems good for a college commuter such as myself haha. But yeah, let me know how much you paid if you find out. Did you buy your midpipe straight off of AP's site? Think the dual reson runs around $250 + shipping. But yes, I am a big fan of the muscle sound (Mustang, etc) but I realize I cannot get that from my 8, which is cool because I love my 8, but I want as deep of a sound as possible, and according to you, this exhaust has a decently deep sound...I guess we will see when you throw the AP on if that stays the same!

The exhaust has an awesome tone, and it makes an awesome popping noise if you are around 5k rpm and let off. Almost like a backfire but it isn't!
Check out 2 vendors on here.
One is thmotorsports and the other is import image. Both will sell the mid pipe for $215 shipped. Thmotorsports is where I got mine and I had him do a price match. But, it was only like a dollar or two difference between those two.
Also, I placed the order yesterday and called them and asked when it will ship and all that an he said they ran out very quickly and so what they do is ship them from Agency Power. So it's almost like we are getting a discounted price because it's the real thing
