SO, if I understand this correctly, isn't it going to be very similar in character to the CZ results for a N/A car, with the exception of adjusting timing and not fighting the LTFT? The stock ECU ran close to stoich until the high revs, then the CZ could get an extra 15-20 rwhp by tuning in the high revs only.
It doesn't seem like there are any gains to be made in the low to mid RPMs with a N/A car.

The Interceptor system has many user definable functions that the other systems do not have. In some situations like autocrossing or track days switching maps and taking advantage of these could very easily provide a more consistant, usable power band. If the N/A's you have seen are running stoich at W.O.T. then they are leaving power on the table. I have always found 12.8-13.1 at W.O.T. for N/A makes good power and long engine life. We may all find out sooner than you think! thanks Scott
I personally feel the RX-8 with the right upgrades is capable of running somewhere in the 13's in naturally aspirated form without nitrous. The first step is going to be with proper tuning. Next comes all the traditional bolt ons which don't do alot but still do something nevertheless. Then comes attention to the engine itself. I want to see how far tuning goes on it's own. I bet it will surprise some people.

Can't wait till someone gets dyno numbers for this on an N/A 8.
200+whp is EASY to believe...I've seen that on a STOCK car...so I'd guess, if this Interceptor can replicate what that car's ECU was doing, adding i/h/e/fw should get to that 230whp mark w/o too much fuss.

If we could get the ECU to keep ignition advance at 30 all the way from 6000 - 9000 rpm, I would be a happy camper. Damn ECU retards timing if you touch the fuel mappings on that range.
