Intake Help Please

Read Notes First!!!!!

Note: I read every thread on intakes- so yes I did search....

Note: I know the stock intake is just as good and I know I am wasting my money because there is no real power gain...

Note: Yes I know it is just a noise maker!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK - lets move forward.....

I am going to be ordering an Intake this week. I am really leaning towards the K & N SRI. So my question is for those who have it...

- Do you like the way it sounds? Are you happy with your purchase? Are you satisfied with the fit & finish?

----------------------------

Question for all:

If you know about this product, can you list the web site you found it on and the price... -- I am looking for a great deal!!!

Thanks for your time!!!! I am looking forward to productive responses, the ones that answer my questions..

I like it because it it so clean and easy to install.
Very happy with fit and finish.
I dont like it because it is obnoxiously loud when you get on it at full throttle. I havent heard a drive by from outside, but inside its loud as hell, and makes panels rattle.
I got mine new on ebay for $200 shipped

the new k&n actually is a big improvement over the older model. If it's cheaper than the revi I don't see why not. I think i seen a dyno chart on the k&n somewhere on this site and it gave a lil power everywhere at the curve.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I went with the K & N panel filter for 1 big reason!

MY WIFE!

She heard some sound clips and said that the SRI was just too loud. I just hope that the panel filter will please me... I read the review posted regarding the panel filter recently and it seemed pretty good. Has anyone else had experience with the panel filter and can back up this guy's claim???

Just to let eveyone know, I am not looking an increase in power, just a little more sound...

Thanks Again!!!

i don't think a filter would help with sound too much. Maybe it's me.

I've got a great idea to help with your intake issue.
Step one: Stop being a freakin' nancee
Step two: Grow a pair
Step three: Buy a real intake
Step four: Slap that biatch and put her in her place
