i was looking up some short ram intakes for my 04 and the weapon R secret drew my attention..
is this a bad idea? i read that ill lose HP, and its purely for the sound. so that means no better MPG?

 

Sounds like you just answered your own question.
Now keep reading and you'll find what the recommended intakes are.
Regardless... no aftermarket intake will give you better performance than the OEM.
So unless you just want to customize your car and want a louder sound, just stick with OEM.
