i have a canzoomer waiting to be installed on my 8, and i am wondering if i can install it without tuning it right away. Is that a bad idea, i heard that it might run too rich and end up braking the motor without tuning it. i am also wondering about the racing beat flash, is there any point of getting it if i have a chip going into my 8. If there is a benifit to getting it then would i have to do it before or after i do the install? i have mazdaspeed cai intake sr highflow cat and borla exhaust, is there even a point of tunning it at all since i dont have a turbo?

Canzoomer wont do much to your car. a lot of people removed them from their 8 already.

I suggest you to try RB flash.

 

canzoomer Is only a fooler Module. about every 70 miles the computer needs to be reset To actually get the benefits of the box. the module was from the early early days of the rx8 And is pretty far behind the benefits and technology of the racing beat flash. however much you paid for it, it was too much.

 

so you guys are saying theres no point in tuning the car with the canzoomer chip? what kind of gains does the racing beat flash give you?
