unlike you. you bad woman hater you
katie - you've probably already figured it out, but it helps to just put in the key words in the search tab and it'll pick up anything on here with that. you can do the advanced search to whittle down the number, and relevance, of items that pop up

WTF socal bash thread, not injen review thread. This should be closed and all useful posts (pertaining to topic) moved to the other injen discussion.
Only real/substantial gains from intake are cooler intake draw or a light light positive pressure (~.2lbs) from a ram air effect (via RB duct/odula duct/re-a duct).
eviltwinkie - 2nd fastest or 2nd highest dynoing. Other factors inclue model, temperatures, unsprung/sprung weight, tire compound/friction, etc
Really takes ***** to out and out claim to be the "2nd fastest na rx8"

factors such as...model...GT (w/ lightest spec options)...temps texas heat...tires at the time first batch of Toyo R888 (semi-slicks) in the US on RPF1's...
not to mention all the mods, tuning, lightening up, and lots of driver education time...heh
***** is one thing...skillz i haz...in any vehicle as soon as i figure them out...see seven stock kart results...as a lame example...

so when you couple skill, to a properly balanced tool...yeah...ballz has nothing to do with it...heh

Noone said a word about who was the best driver, we were discussing cars. Of course an experienced driver will be faster; in comparison to experience nearly any na mod on the rx8 is negligible.
So, claiming your "rx8" to be the second fastest does indeed take ***** :P

but instead its nicer to provide information, hints, and helpful advice...which was interspersed in there somewhere...

This thread is discussing performance parts. It read as though you were stating your rx8 was the nd fastest na 8, not that you were the second fastest driver.

a MAJOR reason i can claim my RX is probably the second fastest (non-race trim) NA, is because i have YET to see a 1/4mi slip or a 0-60 time which exceeded my results...
i do not post that information publicly just as i do not post my mods publicly just because im a firm believer in the put up or shut up philosophy. i welcome challenges, and always oblige...in friendly and legal ways only...
so far...again, until im proven wrong...i have NEVER lost to another RX...both on road courses or the 1/4mi...
recently i decided to move to FI in order to stop getting punked by C5 vettes on straights...and then i'll no longer be able to make my claim...
but hands down, the BEST mod...driver education...BEST
=)

Lol, well I guess its differing forum etiquette? I mean, that post was on the same front page, only a few posts down. "Anyone dyno this thing yet? Feels like there are upper rpm gains!" as a post in that thread would have been more suiting. Seeming multiple posts about the same stuff on the front pages just seems like a waste - I'm a believer of condensing info so in the future when individuals search it all lands in one convenient place. Not putting literally everything in one place but I mean asking about a dyno, when it was discussed in the other thread as well, seems like that thread would have been better.
Gah, this has become thread trash central lol, dammit. Stupid hipocracy me-><-me
And yes, I'm sure you are quite the driver and may have quite the na rx8
