What would happen if i got one of those MSD Igition booster thingy's? would if affect the car in any way, Is there one yet for the Rx-8 and how much do they go for?

 

Oh ya would they help on Cold starts?

 

I thought that was more for cars with Distributor caps???

 

You would have to get a four channel one to do all four plugs plus four coils. Each plug has a separate coil/electronic ignition. You could get by with just a two channel and two coils, and just do the leading (lower) plugs. Reports are it doesn't increase power. I think it should make flooding less possible. Those stock coils are tiny.

 

Would it help extend the life of the car if i got the right one?
