OH YEAH!!!!
I Just ordered the Package 1 deal from Canzoomer about 30 min ago...!!!
STAGE 2 ECU, midpipe with cat and resonator
I'll be ordering an exhaust pretty soon, and I CANT WAIT to get it all on!!!
HP here I come!!!!
Does anyone else have the stage 2 w/ midpipe yet, and if so, how do you like it?

I had 2 or 3 conversations via email with maurice...
I was told 4-5 weeks backorder for the ECU and 2-3 for midpipe...
I was told they were in production...thats why I ordered the package deal in the first place....

Will do....I plan on giving complete install pics and progress reports....It's like being a little kid at Christmas again!!!!
Maybe I can get someone to donate some Dyno time, to get some real reports and numbers??

Don't know about donating... but I do know where you can get three runs for about $70.
Are you planning on going to Rotary Revolution with your free pass with CZ purchase? I'm gonna be merging in with the Columbus caravan when they go by.. you are welcome to join the train.

Colletti Racing in Centerville. I used to spend a lot of free time there before I moved up to Beavercreek. They run an ITR in the Grand American series and have a dyno. Steve Colletti is a good guy, just a car nut like us. Last I heard it was $70 for 3 runs on his dyno.. might be closer to $80 now. In any case.. good people, good dyno.. pretty close by. He has a dynojet in case you were wondering.
From what I've gathered about 40 RX-7s, maybe 5 or so 8s excluding us. Success07 is the only other 8 member in Ohio I can think of offhand that is going. It is going to be so much fun.

WOW!!! Yeah to be honest, I have an 89TII as well that Im fixing up to be my powerhouse...but the motor will be pulled by then, so she wont be running, or else I would take her.
But I'm definitely excited to take the 8, especially with the new mods coming soon!!!
We should meet up in Centerville sometime. It was funny because I was up at Showcase by the mall and it was the first week I had my 8, and I usually park out in the boonies with it, and I came out after the movie, and a sunlight silver 8 (with temp tags as well at the time) was parked right next to me. I was giddy...

Let me know when you're going to the dyno. Hopefully you'll have some cool exhaust or intake mods by then! I haven't heard an 8 with aftermarket plumbing yet.
I'll PM you contact info. I'm very interested in hearing more about your 89TII though. I love working on cars.

Awesome.. I'd love to help you work on the 7.
Fox & Hound is one of the few bars I enjoy going to. Good beer, nice atmosphere.. yeah, I'm there on occasion. hehe.

Also, you can get three runs on the mobile dyno at the event. $65 if you don't want a printout of your afr's (just a printout of your torque and rwhp) and $75 if you want the AFR's.

If you only knew how many hours per week I work on making this event the best event for any vehicle anywhere it would all be clear to you.
I think my day job has RR envy...
On top of that, it is very exciting to see new life coming into the rotary community, and we need to help show "new to the rotary engine" owners that really they've got a great and unique vehicle on their hands and I can't do that if they don't show up at the event. :D
Pass the word, not only will you have a great time, you'll learn about and appreciate your car more!

The more RX-8 owners talk about the event, the more RX-8 owners will want to attend the event. I won't be buying my 8 until next year so at this point I'm just some guy trying to get you people to go to some event, lol...
And, adding a signature about your 8 attending the event that links to either our forum area or our website would be a great help...
It's easy to do, simply start a post, choose the "http://" button up top and type in what you want it to say, then paste in the URL. Take the code it displays and cut it, then paste that in as your signature. :D

I'm trying to get my dealer to give info about the event to all the 8 owners that they come in contact with.. doubt they'll follow through. I think the canzoomer deal might help out some.

Who is your dealer? We've actually contacted a few in the Columbus and surrounding areas about sponsoring the event, but none of them see the potential of marketing the RX8 to 50 Ohio RX7 owners at their disposal for an entire weekend.
