i currently have the greddy turbo kit on my rx-8 & i still have the stock cat and i was wanting to replace it with a mid-pipe and just want to know what the normal hp gain was from doing so. just trying to find out if the extra noise is worth it.

 

I think Rote8 which has a supercharger on his car added a standard midpipe and got something like 15-25hp more from his F/I car...I cannot remember the exact number.

 

you probably wont get a noise increase (compared to a NA 13B) and should expect a 10+HP increase

 

yeah i'ld say somwhere between 10 and 15 also

nope, with a turbo it changes things. 10whp is n/a.

expect about 20whp increase.

 

It depends of the rest of the setup. high boost and a good EMS you will see 20whp.
