How much does the RB REVi intake weigh?
How much does the RB REVi intake weigh? I'm hoping someone has weighed it and knows, or perhaps someone who just ordered will see this thread and weigh theirs, but anyway, does anybody know?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I just installed mines last night, although I dont own a scale to weigh it with, I would have to estimate that it weighs no more then 5-8 lbs. It weighs less then the orginal air box with the under tray. Then there is the VFAD unit taken out of the car also.

I drove down to Racing Beat since its near me and got it from them directly.
Just a FYI, they said they currently got a 3 month waiting list on their exhaust =O. However, I'm sure there are some vendors out there with it in stock. I got mines directly from them in December.
Out of curiousity, why do you care how much and intake system weigh?

As someone said................the tray underneath the stock box itself is heaver than the Revi.................plus you take out the VFAD, so that's even more. I'll take a look at the instructions and see if it declares weight. For a comparison, you'd have to have the weight of the stock airbox, tray, and entire VFAD assembly.

Thanks, I knew it was there in that thread, but was too lazy to go find it. So now that person has the stock weights, so off to the Revi question. Quess you actually have to include the new tube in this(although it's miniscule).
