HKS single sided exhaust

I think Ive seen one person on the forum with it... just want to learn a little more about it. Anyone know from experience how lowd, or nice it is? any downsides to it? I read it is for turbo apps.... so is NA bad for this exhaust?

NA isn't bad. it's just like other aftermarket exhausts in terms of gain for NA, difference is where the best gain is since it's a 3 inch.

it's pretty loud and throaty when on throttle, but perfect for everyday driving. the quality of the exhaust is also top notch.

Never fear, Jedi is here.

Quality wise, the HKS is freakin' awesome! I had a chance to drive a car with it on and it reminded me of an RX-7! Nice and throaty without being annoying or droning.

N/A is perfectly fine for this exhaust.

XdeedubbX has some sound clips on youtube of this exhaust.

haha , there is really no downsides to this exhaust unless you don't like the look of a single sided or if you already have a midpipe (cuz it will make the car obnoxiously loud).

I love it. Sounds deep and throaty and has a deffinate "rotary" sound at 9 grand. I drive with the windows down now just to hear it. Most deff worth it. Top notch qualitly and an impressive piece.

+1 on ordering from Hopup racing. I ordered mine from there, got it quickly. Plus, it's the cheapest I found and free shipping.

the single sided exhaust will work for both NA and FI rx8's, although in NA forrm there is not much difference in power, but when used in a FI'd 8 you will see a nice whp and torque gain vs the legamax.

I'd almost be worrired about losing power NA to be honest... sucks because I have no intentions of going FI and I really like the sound of your car and the build quality of HKS products.
