Besides being the loudest thing on God's earth, it will sound like ****. Don't trust youtube videos. I know because I was running that exact same setup for a few months. GET A BHR MID PIPE! It will make the HKS high power sound awesome. That plus a HKS exhaust silencer put in the tip and you get a great tone, and a only modest increase in volume.

The Hi Power with the AP midpipe is deafening. I now have the HKS with a BHR midpipe like redline and it sounds amazing.

I run the hi power with no cat and a bridge ported engine... it's loud, but I know a lot of Hondas that are louder.

It will be loud as fawk. Even my Hi-power with my BHR pipe was loud. But I wish I never sold that exhaust, I plan on buying it again now that I am FI.

Because I was in the midst of some changes and decided to go with a twin tip setup due to the noise of the HKS. But then I went turbo and learned how much it quiets the exhaust noise so now I think it would be perfect. The HKS has the best sound IMO and I have heard just about every RX-8 exhaust available.

9k from what i've read in your previous posts i know you don't like the products of race roots. I was debating on getting the hks hi power as well because i definitely wanted a single, but after finding out the hks single went up about 150ish or more in price because the usa company went bankrupt or w/e i decided to go with the race roots single.

At first i had my doubts about it sounding good, but i'm really glad i got it. it cost only 400 total including shipping and it doesnt touch any of the framework and is nice and deep all the way to redline. i hated the rattle and rasp i had with the agency power exhaust i had. i definitely don't get that with the RR single. i have it mated to the oem cat but plan on gettin the bhr midpipe soon. look at it this way you'd have the extra money you'd save to put it into your bhr midpipe savings

HKS is no longer in the US thanks to piece of **** companies like RR copying their products. That RR single doesn't compare to the HKS in many ways. That POS will crap out in 20,000 miles or less, then you will wish you had spent the extra $150.00. Don't get me started.

Muffler construction is key as to whether it will last and keep its sound/tone.

Does anyone know if the RB dual resonated mid-pipe is louder or quieter than the BHR w/ the hks hi power? would really appreciate it!

The BHR is not much louder than my factory cat was with the HKS at lower RPMs. It screams higher up. It does a pretty good job of keeping the noise down. The resonator is really well done. Also, my unpolished one with no O2 bung came with one in it.

I have my hks paired up with the RB duel mid and it's sexy!! I had it with the ap mid before and it was redicliously loud the RB made it deeper and more tame I guess...

I guess I lucked out cuz mine doesn't touch or at least it didn't when I saw it on the lift. And thanks for postin up the pic! I think for 450 the polish should be included but it's not like anyone will see it while it's installed anyway.

Polished exhaust parts are useless.
