ok guys i want to get the hks exhaust. with my ap midpipe i'll have to drive with ear plugs to avoid the droning from driving me nuts lol; well i have been reading and it seems that i can buy an apexi silencer for it.

now on the website they only sell 90mm and 115 mm. the tip for the hks is 97mm, the only answer i found was that a member added tape around the edges to make it fit tighter, i dont think thats a good idea; since we have a tendency to crap fire

any idea if the 90mm will fit?

next, there are two options:

the apexi active tail silencers or the super silencer which is quieter.

I think mysql101 put a silencer on an hks hi power. search through his threads and see if you can come up with anything.

 

i had it on my hks for a while but it fell off on the freeway, i think i had the 90mm, the tip for HKS maybe 97mm but there is a inner tip that the TI tip mounts to and the inner tip is much closer to the size of the apexi silencer

that's what i am afraid of, i want to do a bit more research on it. it is a pricey silencer lol

 

yeaa, to be honest i didnt really miss it that much but it did help me pass the california decibel test. It fell off because the viberation on the tip loosened one of the bolts holding it on, luckily my tip didnt fall off with it
