Hks Hi Power Exhaust

Is this street legal..because in the description it says for off road use only??

it might be because it doesn't meet the dB limits.

a lot of exhausts say they arent street legal. Depending on how strict your area's testing is you should probably pass inspection.

They post that as a disclaimer. They don't want to be responsible if you cannot use their product in your area pending local laws Like everyone else has said.

do you know how i could find out the local laws for that kind of stuff?

thats a ridiculously great price for the turboxs, ESPECIALLY since it includes a race pipe.

the HKS hi-power looks good. but I wonder how loud it will be.

I honestly don't think its that loud, its the best sounding exhaust for the 8 IMO. I maybe biased since I own it, but that was the reason why I bought it.

imput... it looks like we might end up having similar cars and we live sorta close.

i'm only an hour away.

i have a few of the same mods as you do, i think, and we're the same color.

if you have the baffles in the exhaust the turboxs+pipe is not loud at all. at a 65mph cruise, you cant hear it at all. during acceleration there is a really nice growl.

honestly i love the sound.

remove the baffles and.... well you've got a race car. you should wear a helmet or some other ear protection while driving for extended periods of time.

yeah its actually not that loud its bearable, its like music to your ears. i never got any complaints about its only compliments. a investment i will never regret. but its definitely louder the greddy.

I think it's a little quiet at idle, and very distinct at WOT! I always get looks when I get on it...

Is the Hks Hi power only for turbo rx8's? or for non-turbo also? Cuzz i'm searching and can only find it for turbo applications
