highflow cat, midpipe mpg?
does the highflow cat and midpipe decrease the mpg? i have a high flow cat and my mpg seems like it decreased but i wasnt sure if that was the case. anyone tell me the science behind this if this is the case?

if you are driving harder after the install yes it will decrease. other than that no it should not.

went from a stock cat to a mid pipe, no change.

the funny thing is when i was stock i was shifting at 5k driving at 4 and now i shift at 3500-4000 and get lower mpg lol.....

since mpg occurs at low rpm/flow rates why do you think it would change?

A high flow cat mostly impacts the mid-high rpm powerband
