You can do what you like with your car. I have my opinion, you have yours.

PS gtballa, you should check out Mazdamaniac's turbo kit as well. Essentially a Greddy kit, but with the problems fixed & much larger turbo.
huh, didnt realize a wallet size picture of my girlfriend was ghetto

My car smells like peachy peach when my windows are up.

So, your opinion is fine, just incorrect.

Whatever, like I said, people are entitled to their opinions.

gtballa, you've seen some people in the post describe what it's like with a midpipe (smelling like a gas station). I guess if you want to drive your car with the windows rolled up all the time, your car can smell peachy, I guess.

Whatever internet tough guy. Calling me a ***** through a message board because I think a car with no cat smells like ***. Maybe your just a short, short man that wants to pretend that he's got a cool car because it smells like a POS car of the 60's. You're trying to talk trash because I gave an opinion that I didn't like the smell. Guess what, some people don't like the smell of a catless car. Just because you have one, doesn't mean you're cool guy that is right. How about just STFU. I you like it that's cool, but don't call my opinions "false" or "incorrect." They are as right as yours genius . You're not being a smartass, you're just being an ***.

PS, the 21st century called, they said you don't have to have a car that smells like crap when you open a window, you don't have to have an CEL light on all the time, and you don't need to **** everyone off in the neighborhood for about 2 hp. If you think you get more than 2-3 hp more from a midpipe than a supercat, then you are delusional.

Nope, Im actually 6'5''.

You just need to take it down a notch, no need to get your panties in a bundle.

Actually, you generally get 2-3 from the supercat, or 5-8 from the midpipe, so Im delusional.

Hey, the 21st century called to let you know that you dont have to cry because someone disagrees with your overdramatic statements. My last post was actually a joke, hence the 'grouphug' smilie, just screwing around. Figured a member with 3000+ posts would just laugh it off and realize were argueing over the way our cars should smell.

With that said, chill.

Then just apologize, & move on. If you make cracks on a guy, then expect it back in spades. I figure someone with over a 1,000 posts on here would figure that out. Your jokes can be construed as insulting, & hence you get it back.

And BTW, the hp for an RP Supercat is about 5-6 hp (See Nemesis posting), and the midpipe a little more than that. Dynoed on this board (not the 2-3 that you claim).

They call it a T618Z, which is basically a TD06-18G. The Mazda Maniac upgraded kit comes with a much nicer modified Garrett GT3071R.

Hey Stefan, i'm in europe too (Italy) and we found, after some research, some european producers that have "non melting\gutting" catalyzers for our car.
If you need a catalyzer i might give you their email address.

hey i have a sp2,

i was wondering how much louder is the midpipe compared to a high flow cat?

and if it is alot louder than high flow would it sound like a high flow if u put the resonator on it or will it sound just normal like ur exhaust and u only get the gains?

thanks,
jake

There are other catalyzers that don't gut that easily.
You should try them even if the cost is definitely higher. There is the brain cat that respects FIA standards (www.brainkat.net i think) but i gutted that as well, now i'm using the re amemiya one and it is an excellent product!
