I don't know if this is a repost or not....i could not find anything on it......but does anyone know where you can find headers for the RX-8 for a reasonable price.....i found the set on corksport.com ....but it's $1300.00....which is rediculous......so if anyone knows about this....please let me know

 

Headers provide little to no gain, that's why threads on them are hard to find. But this thread has alot of posts about a cheap header https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/obx-rx8-header-73445/

 

eBay has them for $250 by OBX. I wouldn't install them though. They get red hot, not sure I want that happening in my engine bay. I'll stick with factory and sacrifice the 1hp.

What I was going to say. Racing Beat has been long rumored to have some headers in the works also. Hymee's headers sounded very promising, I think I'll be looking to pick them up if/when he makes them available to the public.

 

hey i have a set of headers on my car.. dont reall think i got much HP gain from em but its so so sooooo loud now.. There custom ones from promaz in AUS, however, dont the stock headers have some chamber comming off them which is connected to the air pump? my car keeps throwing CEL because its missing this? can someone explain, 1. what this is? 2. what it looks like and 3. why u need it? dont know weather its good for my car or not having this thing disconnected
