Can someone please tell me what it is?? And it has the MAZDASPEED logo on it... copyright infringement, or is it actually a ms part?

confused. please clarify

as far as I know the Oil Catch Tank catches the oil and moisture in the blow-by gas that causes carbon and sludge build-up in the intake system and the engine. It keeps the engine clean even under hard driving conditions. It is an excellent engine dress up item that gives a racecar look. Polished aluminum body with sight glass. 15mm hose included. A built in fluid level gauge will visually show when to empty the catch can.

It's not a real Mazdaspeed part - just a generic catch can with the logo on it. Same principle applies to those cheesy seat belt pads with the Mazdaspeed logo - not a real Mazdaspeed part.

A catch can is nice if you're doing some serious track time, but it's hard to say if the RX-8's PCV system really needs a catch can.

it was just a regular cap with a ms sticker on it
