Flex-a-lite install

hey does anyone have any knowledge on what wires on the stock radiator fan plugs are power and ground, basically the wiring diagram? i dont want to tear it apart and then try and test it.... i am trying to hard wire my flex a lite fans into the stock plug and i just need that little tad bid of info


once i have that info i will do a diy if you guys are interested

Be aware that the fan motors sometimes run in series as well as in parallel. I assume they only run at full speed (parallel) if the coolant temperature is very high. There are 3 relays used to achieve this.

What are you running a flex-a-lite fan on? Please don't say the radiator! I've used 2 of them on RX-7's. Both of them melted down ni less than 6 months. The stock fans pull more than enough air and much more than a flex-a-lite fan. If you are wiring up a couple of little ones to an oil cooler then I'd understand.

For both cooling fans to run in series only relay No.1 must be energised. When relays No2 and No.3 are also energised both fans run at full speed. Basically this means that fan No.1 gets its ground connection when relay No.2 is energised. Fan No.2 is permanently grounded. Hope that helps?

well i am running them on the rad... i have used them on other cars one being boosted and never had any problems.... they flow more then stock and should help keep things cooler with the addition of the turbo system in a few months... o'ren thanks for the link
