Favourite exhaust & why?

Hey all,

Thinking of getting a nice exhaust system for my 8, was wondering what your guys' favorites are and why you think so. I'm leaning either towards the Exotic Speed or the B&B!

racing beat, it is the quietest exhausts but still gives a great sound when you get on it. it sounds better with time.

HKS sounds the best IMHO, however, it costs too much for such little gain.

I'm next happiest with the sound of the Greddy - I love the 'putt putt' when I get off the throttle. I love the large diameter tips but dislike the tarnishing and subsequent work to clean them. Once day when I have bronze colored rims it'll match perfectly!

By the end of the month I will have owned 4 different exhausts, 5 if you count the OEM exhaust.

Borla, HKS Legamax, HKS Hi Power, TurboXS, OEM

OEM cat, B&B catless, TurboXS catless

I'm still not sure which is best. Hopefully I get some gains with the 3" turboxs. The dyno numbers in my sig was with a 2.5" exhaust.

Thumbs up

Yeah, I hear great things about the RB exhaust, but I'm looking for something on the louder side.. Yeah, I'm going FI some day, but not until atleast 4 years from now.. (going to wait for warranty to diminish so I don't cancel it out//incase I need a rebuilt engine or some other odd or end goes wrong) I've seen pictures of Exotic Speed, and it looks like a great product aswell.. Very unique..

Thanks for all the input I'll keep reading on as I hear more suggestions.. So far Racing beat looks pretty darn preferable.

i don't like RB. It's heavy and it's close enough to stock that it's not worth the $$ invested. You may as well buy $50 SS tips, weld them on the stock exhaust and get a catless midpipe for $150. Bigger gains this way too.

With the midpipe, it sounds really raspy. Without the midpipe, it sounded really good.
