Parameters of the Test:
VEHICLE: 2003 Honda Element

TRIP: 80% to 90% Highway

ADDATIVE USED: EXP4 Fuel and Oil Treatment. One bottle of each, added to the car at the same time

DISCLAIMER - Many variable contribute to the fuel efficiency of a vehicle and some of these factors are not related to the vehicle, but the driver and environment.


Executive Summary:

After 4 tanks worth of driving, my analysis indicate that there is no statistical difference between the fuel efficiency before and after one bottle of the EXP4 fuel and oil treatment was added to the 2003 Honda Element. This conclusion is only relevant to the 2003 Honda Element and to the one bottle of Fuel and Oil treatment that was added. Any conclusion made to other vehicle types or even different Model Year of Honda Elements is not supported by this data set or anlaysis. Refer to the attached Word document for the complete writeup.

Currently I only have 4 data points with the EXP4 added. As more data points are added to the analysis the results may change. I will update as I get more data. The analysis was performed on Minitab 14

 

I also want to point out that the results may change once the oil treatment is added to the automatic transmission fluid. Right now the anlaysis is limited to the oil treatment added to the engine and the fuel treatment.

 

I'm about to have completed burning my first tank with the stuff, so I will also report shortly.
