Exhaust loudness - high fllow cat vs.

Is a high flow cat without a resonator or a resonated catless mid-pipe louder? Of course with the same catback.

Has anyone experienced both a high flow cat vs. a resonated mid pipe? Which one is quieter with the same catback?

Straight pipe is loud - resonator(s) can cut it nicely.

Cat or catless is a different problem.......

the resonator on my b&b catless midpipe didn't really do squat.

if you get a muffler and have it welded into your midpipe, your results would be quite a bit different.

From: RP Supercat + Racing Beat REV8 = Higher Midtone Sound level 6 to: Mazsport Dual Resonated Midpipe + Modified Racing Beat REV8 = Lower DeepTone Sound Level 4.

It's raining pretty good up here in the Real Sasquatch land - but Saturday the Sun comes out to play for a day. We missed our Summer it seems.

I have the MS catback and RB race pipe and it's extremely loud. The car is mostly a track car so it works great for me. If it's a daily I'd recommend a hi-flow cat.

really? cause im getting the race pipe for the turboxs. right now i just have the catback on and its already too loud in my taste. although i think its pretty acceptable with the silencers put on in the tips. without those silencers though.... i feel like some punk in a civic...

looks awesome.

I wouldn't want it though. I'd be worried about the first time I go to get some pizza, it would be broken up and in pieces all over the sidewalk.
