I am planning on doing some engine bay cleanup and random housekeeping stuff under the hood of my car. I was curious if anyone knew the coupler sizes on the esmeril kit since i am wanting to replace these. I was wanting to get everything purchased before i tear into the car and did not want to remove the front end just to take measurements for hte ellbows that connect to the intercooler. Anyone who is able to get this info it would be greatly appreciated if you could relay it on to me. Thanks

 

i PM'd him a day or two ago - no responce yet. He is prolly jsut busy cuz he has been pretty quick at replying to all my annoying questions. Just figured i could get a quick answer on here so i can get these purchased already.

 

I was looking into the vibrant couplers. Have yet to look at samco. As far as colors go, i am a nordic green so not really sure anything would go with the car. I will probably just go with black couplers.

I know that the pipe coming off hte intercooler is 3" couplers. I also know that coming off the turbo goin into the intercooler is 2.5" couplers. What i am unsure of is the openings on the intercooler. I believe they are 3" and the coupler on the inlet was a reducing elbow. I would jsut like a little conformation on the the intercooler sizes. Elbows and couplers are not as cheap as one would think.

 

Im pretty sure both ends of the intercooler are 2.5 inch. You can buy a caliper for like 5 bucks and double check yourself. A good thing to have if you do plan to mess around with more hoses in future.
