I'm new to the site and new to RX-8's and everything about them and i was wondering if they have a short throw shifter for 2005 RX-8? i have been trying o find online and i can't.

I highly doubt he looked all over the net, and he sure didn't look here or he'd have known that.

Anyway...........seems like the AFE is the top choice.

i was just trying to be nice . i love my afe shifter. as mazurfer said search there are a ton of threads on this mod.

I know you were, I was just giving him some grief for not searching first.

 

ms sts came first. it's a decent product.

the afe version was modeled after the ms sts, but was designed to have an even shorter throw, and it costs less than the ms version.

That's why almost all of us have the afe. Shorter throws, and cheaper price tag. You can't lose.

Also, cheaper isn't crappier in this case. the AFE STS is a well made unit.
