DO I have the corrrect Flywheel for an RX-8 from Racing Beat

Folks :
I ordered a light weight flywheel from racing beat and received it today.

The invoice refers to the part as item number 11468 LTWGHT ALUM FLYWHY RX-8 04

The part I RECEIVED has the following tag on it:
PART NO: S11448, ALUM FLYWHL 87-95 TRBO

DO I have the corrrect Flywheel for an RX-8?

I already sent a note to Racing Beat also tonight.

I believe you have the right flywheel and that they are interchangeable between the RX7 Turbo and RX8. It's important that you have the correct counterweight (Mazda OE) for the RX8 though and Racing Beat should have packaged them both together.

Yeah it is the correct part. I was the first person to put a rx7 flywheel on an 8 and it is all the same.

From Racing Beat:

Yes, the flywheel that you have is indeed correct for the RX-8. As with most of the RX-7 applications, the actual flywheel is the same for many of the applications, with only the counterweight being different. In the case of the RX-8, it uses the RX-7 turbo flywheel, and the counterweight from an RX-8 application.

We have changed the part description in the inventory listing and the bill of materials for this part, but it will take a couple of production runs for all the older parts with this decal to rotate through the inventory.
